The motion detector for DSLRs by walimex is an innovation in the field of nature and animal photography. As a photographer in these areas you probably know the following situation. For several hours you have been trying to photograph a shy, wild animal living in a natural environment, but you just can’t manage to. The reason is the instinctive shyness of animals toward humans. With the motion detector for DSLRs by walimex you can avoid this problem, because it automatically triggers your camera, when, e.g., a deer steps into the field of vision of the infrared sensor.
Flexible Technology
The motion detector can be mounted on any tripod with its 1/4 inch thread and due to ist flexible bracket it can be angled exactly how you like. With the help of barn doors, the field of vision of the sensor can be limited as much as you like, so that the camera is only triggered when the animal is exactly in front of the camera whereby there are no accidental triggerings. In order to minimize radio interference, you can choose between four channels on the motion detector. The maximum range between the two devices is approx. 50m. The motion detector detects movements up to a distance of 8m.
Various fields of use
The set is particularly well-suited for nature and animal photography. Even in complete darkness, the motion detector works reliably. In other fields the set is extremely convenient as well: e.g. for surveillance purposes or for self-portraits. Your creativity is not limited.
Compatibility
The set is compatible with various DSLRs of the brands Canon and Nikon (see Technical Specifications). In order to use the set with your camera, simply connect the trigger to your camera with the corresponding cable.
