As a freebie its great, but its worth buying in any case as its somewhere safe to keep your DSi XL and you can carry all your games with you too.

bought the starter kit when I ordered the Dsi xl.. glad I did,,, sturdy carrying case and a couple of card holders and spare pens came with it .very useful when travelling,,, took it on hols with me
