Marmitek VideoControl 3 infrared extender set

The Marmitek Videocontrol3 transmits the signal from your own remote control back to another room via the existing coax cable. The Videocontrol3 consists of an infra-red receiver and an infra-red transmitter. The receiver is simply connected to the TVs antenna connection (e.g. in the bedroom). The transmitter is connected to the antenna connection of e.g. the satellite receiver. With the infra-red eyelets included you can control up to 3 different devices (e.g. satellite receiver, video recorder and decoder). The Marmitek Videocontrol3 signal is also transmitted via all antenna boxes, splitters and amplifiers which are return channel compatible. Extra receivers are available separately so that you can control your equipment from different rooms. Please note that the Videocontrol3 works with infrared (IR) signals and not the IrDA signals used by some satellite and cable set-top boxes or the higher frequency infrared signals used by Bang and Olufsen equipment. It is not compatible with hi-fi systems that are controlled using remote controls that transmit radio frequencies (e.g. some Bose systems).
